Comfort and convenience by the shore. Located at the tip of Borneo in the Kudat District, Tommy’s Place is a no frills low price accommodation suitable for your everyday budget traveller. Overlooking the majestic azure waters of Simpang Mengayau, their rooms are just a minutes’ walk from the white sandy beaches of the shore.<\/p>\n

There are 21 different rooms to choose from with varies prices, ranging from backpacker bunk beds, modest villas to VIP chalets with wooden gazebos.<\/p>\n

Seated on a low hill with a sea view, the VIP Chalets are the newest instalment to the Tommy’s Place. Using wood sourced from the land where the Chalets are built on, the chalets units are designed to compliment its natural surroundings. Tall glass windows welcomes the cool sea breeze, while high ceiling fans and air conditioning are also provided in rooms.<\/p>\n

On much lower grounds, the old and new wing villas offers the choice of lush green hill views, or the serenity of a sea view while being strategically located close to the beach. The accommodations are simple and clean, poised against the natural beauty of Kudat.<\/p>\n

Apart from the idyllic sandy beach, get your blood pumping with some water sports. With the best wind and longest wind season in Malaysia, Kudat is famed for being “the” place for water sports in Sabah. Try your hand at Windsurfing, Kite Boarding, Surfing, Kayaking and Body Boarding as Tommy’s Place has got you covered with all sorts of equipment for rent. With 2 newly opened surf shacks, the centres offers not only rentals of boards but lessons as well.<\/p>\n
