Day2.Get set\u00a0 to reach the start of the Summit Trail at the Timpohon Gate, climbers must drive or walk the 4kms (2 1\/2 miles) of the Kamborongoh Road that leads from the Kinabalu Park Headquarters to the Public Works Department’s Power Station at 1,829m (6,000ft) and later towards Laban Rata for rest. must\u00a0 reach by at least 4 PM.\u00a0 Dinner serve at 6 PM.<\/p>\n

Accommodation at Laban Rata resthouse consists of Laban Rata, Waras Hut, Panar Laban Hut, Gunting Lagadan & Pendant Hut. Laban Rata Resthouse is the only one with heated acoommodation. During booking, the choices will depend on availability. Booking are open as early as 6 months ahead. Reaching the summit will depend on your status as well as the weather’s condition. If bad weather is eminent, the parks rangers will not allowed your ascend to the summit, please note that whatever fee you had paid will be forfeited. All climbers must be accompanied by respective mountain guide, and must obey them at all times or cost. Climber’s and visitor’s safety are at utmost importance.<\/p>\n
